Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient Moves Westward!

image

After five years of development, the game now known as “Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient NEUES” in Japan, the sequel to Corpse Party: Blood Drive is now officially announced to be moving West in the Autumn of 2018!

This was announced by XSeed Games in the 2018 Fall Line-Up and to be released on PC. To be known as “Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient” in the West, XSeed Games promises that the gameplay is updated and that the experience is all the more thrilling!

Here’s directly what XSeed Games had to say:

“The nightmare has returned five years after the events of Corpse Party: Blood Drive with an average junior high school student, Ayame Itou, suddenly finding her life turned upside down in the most unsettling way possible. Upon waking from a coma strapped to an operating table in a ransacked and seemingly abandoned hospital called “Amare Patriarcha Crucis,” Ayame realizes she’s locked in without any means of escape and with virtually no memories of her past. She is, however, not quite as alone as she first thought. Others occupy the mysterious hospital, but whether they are friend or foe remains to be discovered. Remains to be discovered…”

“Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient takes players on a dark and mysterious journey with Ayame and any other friendly faces she can find. Through the deserted halls of Amare Patriarcha Crucis, the party will solve inventory-based puzzles, collect medical charts of deceased patients, and avoid terrifying zombie-like pursuers in order to find much-needed answers, as well as—hopefully—a way out. Titled Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient NEUES in Japan, Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient is the definitive version of Dead Patient with updated graphics and additional scenarios. Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient exists as a standalone story within the Corpse Partyseries, allowing players to jump in regardless of their experience with past titles.”

Let’s look forward to it!

In Getsuei Gakuen -kou- for the PlayStation Vita, you can see a poster of Corpse Party 2: DEAD PATIENT featuring Ayame Ito being hung in the background of Ritsu Shigyō‘s room. This is due to Makoto Kedouin, the creator of Corpse Party, being a Guest Scenario Writer for the game.

It is also noted that there will be a poster for Getsuei Gakuen -kou- will be displayed in Chapter 2 of Corpse Party 2: DEAD PATIENT. I’m looking forward to seeing this poster!

Help Wanted!: Graphic Editor

memoriesoffear:

I am currently looking for a graphic editor to help me out with a project we’re currently working on.

We have three images that we need help on. These particular images have blood on them as well as it being a textured graphic, which makes it hard for me to edit it with my rudimentary skills. So if there is anyone skilled with photoshop who can remove Japanese text as well as overlaying it with text. I will provide you the font we use as well as the graphics.

Do note that this game contains a sensitive subject matter, so I ask that please make sure that you are comfortable with having your name listed in the credits of this project.

If you’re interested in helping me out, please send me a private message!

There's finally news for Dead Patient! A remaster of Chapter 1 is being released in July and Drama CD volume 2 will be out in June as well. There's an article on Siliconera and a Twitter post from their official account. Any plans to translate the remastered release?

I don’t have any plans and I can’t make any promises, but I’ll try to look into it if circumstances allow. Although I think there’s a possibility that Playism could release an official English tranlsation, given their recent track record with games like Angels of Death and the fact that they originally published the digital version of Chapter 1 on their site when it first came out. Not 100% certain, but I think it’s a possibility.

Hey, it's been quite a while since the last time you posted here. Are you alright?

Thank you for asking. The truth is I’ve been going through a few things, some of which are health-related, that have prevented me from being active, both online and in general. I’ve been seeing doctors, getting medications, and I’m moving to a new apartment next month in the hopes that the change of scenery, extra space, and greater convenience will alleviate a lot of my daily stress and help me attain a healthier lifestyle.

Between all of those, I’m starting to do better, and I’m optimistic that I’ll be able to be active online more in the next month or two.

Hi ! I'm French ^^ I'm looking for the video that matches with the translation you did in November 2014, the meet between Ran and Yuuya in Hysteric Birthday, do you know if it still exists ? Thank you very much !

The original video doesn’t exist anymore, but I was actually able to find another upload of the same clip:
